On this 6 days trip You get the chance to experience the breathtaking nature around Ifugao province in the northern Luzon. Here you will find some of the most spectacular nature scenery in the Philippines. Get close to the local village people in Cambulo, Batad and other small villages. Experience public transport, local food, spectacular views and much more on this trip.
Day 1 – Departing Manila
In the evening we head north, where the trekking route among rice fields by Banaue starts. Approx. 21.00 you will be picked up at your guesthouse and driven to bus station, where a representative will help you come up with night bus to Banaue. The trip is air-conditioned bus and the seats can be returned (which is not a Sleeper coach). The trip takes approx. 9 hours.
Accommodation: Sleep in the night bus to Banaue.
Day 2 – Arrival Banaue – trekking – the ifugao village Cambulo
Early in the morning arriving bus to Banaue, where you will be picked up by your guide for the next few days. Breakfast is served at a small local restaurant, and then a driver on a tricycle run you up to Kinakin, where the trek to ifugaolandsbyen Cambulo starts. You Hike by small paths through the rice fields. The view of the mountains and rice paddies is impressive. Along the way we eat lunch at a small local eatery. In the afternoon we arrive in the small ifugao village of Cambulo. Trekking about 4 hours (1 hour ascent, 2 hours in a straight line and 1 hour descent).

Day 3 – Ifugao village Cambulo – Trekking – ifugao village of Batad
Today you trekking to the beautiful ifugao village of Batad, which is surrounded by a “”Amphitheater of rice terraces””. The walk there takes about 2.5 hours. In Batad live most, as their ancestors did. You can see how the Ifugao people saves the bones of deceased family members and see how they store the old bones in colorful handmade blankets. After lunch we head towards Tappiyah Falls, where it is possible to take a refreshing swim (1 hour each way). Dinner is served back in Batad. Trekking approximately 4.5 hours (2-hour ascent, 2.5 hour descent)

Day 4. Ifugao Village Batad and Bangaan – trekking – Banaue
After breakfast you walk towards the small Ifugao village of Bangaan. Lunch is served in a local restaurant in the village, where there is a beautiful views of the many rice terraces. After a visit to Bangaan, you again picked up by a driver on a tricycle and driven back to Banaue. Trekking about 5 hours (primarily ascent)

Day 5 – Banaue and departure from of Manila
This day you have the freedom on your own to experience Banaue. Here you can enjoy the more than 2,000 years old rice terraces, which is created by Ifugao people and which Today, the UNESCO-protected. You can’t help but be deeply impressed the excellent work that underlies the creation of these rice terraces, going to be “”the world’s eighth wonder””. Approximately at 18.00 will guide and accompany you to the bus station and helps you get the night bus to Manila. The return trip takes approx. 9 hours. Sleep in the night bus to Manila. (B, L)
Day 6 – Arrive in Manila
Arrival at the bus station in Manila early in the morning.

Other meals than mentioned in the program, beverages and tip. In the Philippines, it is good practice to tip the guide / driver after ended trip.
